Who I Am

Art has always been a part of my life. I grew up in a family where this was encouraged in many different media and forms, from painting, photography, assemblage, and print making to film and music. Creativity was always strongly encouraged and supported.

Art fits extremely well with the other aspects of my life. I am a Licensed Clinic Social Worker with a private practice. On of the reasons I chose to do this, was so that I could work part time and have time to paint, a goal I have successfully achieved. I am also a long term docent at Henry Cowell State Park in Felton. The combination of these activities gives my life a richness that I cherish. They also reinforce and inform each other. Each gives inspiration to the others. I hope that when you look at my paintings you will see the results of this “collaboration”.
